PROJECT COORDINATOR – HYBRID – WASHINGTON, DC
Our client, a major nonprofit association advocating low-income older adults, seeks a Program Coordinator for a 9-month contract position in Washington, DC. You will support two key programs - one is to help people over 50 find work and the other is to help people over 50 explore working for themselves. A majority of the program works with the participants online. Your role is crucial in supporting the Program Director, Program Managers, and other project resources throughout the program lifecycle.
The work schedule is Monday - Friday (normal business hours) with potential for some support request on select Saturdays. Sometimes there will be online events which could take place after normal hours between 5-7 : 30 pm. Candidates must be local and able to come into Washington D.C. office and can work from home on Monday and Friday.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Program Director and Program Managers in all phases of the program lifecycle.
- Coordinate and produce Economic Mobility online events.
- Develop and implement communication and training plans.
- Take detailed notes during program meetings and distribute comprehensive meeting summaries.
- Update and maintain program and project plans as required.
- Plan, monitor, and coordinate various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Edit and refine program resources to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Collect and validate data to support program objectives.
