We are seeking a Salesforce Developer (80%) / Architect (20%) with strong Service Cloud and MIAW expertise to support our higher-education client’s initiatives. This 6 to 12-month contract position is primarily remote, with a possible on-site visit in Chicago once every six months. Candidates local to the Chicago area are preferred.
What You’ll Do :
- Develop and architect Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration with MIAW.
- Configure and customize MIAW chat features, including chat buttons, pre-chat forms, routing rules, and agent availability settings.
- Set up advanced call center capabilities to enable both phone and live chat-based customer support.
- Integrate MIAW with Service Cloud case management to streamline live chat transitions into support tickets.
- Design and customize the chat interface to align with branding guidelines.
- Monitor key MIAW performance metrics, including chat volume, resolution times, customer satisfaction, and agent performance.
- Identify and resolve issues related to MIAW functionality, such as chat connectivity, user authentication, and message delivery.
- Utilize Apex coding (as needed) for custom development and make UI adjustments using basic HTML / CSS.
