We are seeking a professional like you to join the RJR Fabrics team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing product shipments and receipts accurately and timely. You will lead a small but highly motivated team using behavior-based coaching and feedback with the focus of ensuring that job duties and responsibilities of team members are safely completed in a consistent, accurate, and productive manner. It will require an active participation in personal safety and oversee that other team members adhere to the safety rules and regulations.

What you will do

  • Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Audits goods received into the warehouse. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
  • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
  • Manage best practice implementation to meet/exceed business goals and standards
  • Inspect products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
  • Manage inventories by tracking inventory records reflecting product movement, notifying departments when supplies of specific items are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies
  • Set up and organize the warehouse for incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Accurately measure, cut, fold, and package fabric per customer orders.
  • Maintain organized inventory, ensuring fabric is properly stored, labeled, and accounted for.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including order picker lifts, cutting machines, scales, and barcode scanners.
  • Receive incoming shipments, including fabric containers, and coordinate unloading and storage.
  • Palletize outgoing shipments to ensure safe and efficient transport.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and customer service teams to manage stock levels and resolve order issues.
  • Ensure all orders are packed securely and shipped in a timely manner.

  • Must be able and willing to lead and work successfully in a team environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with office technology and associated data analysis/diagnostic skills
  • Ability to operate an order picker lift efficiently.

Physical Activity Requirements

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, you must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally, up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 30 lbs constantly to move objects. And/or move up to 170 pounds with assistance.

Work Environment: Occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to humid conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
