Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Internal Controls: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Audit Support: Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits. Address auditor queries and implement recommendations as needed.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support. Collaborate with the Leadership to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency[SS1] .
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction setting.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
