Carpenter Assistant / Warehouse

Position Description -

A production worker operates and cleans factory equipment, works on an assembly line, puts together and inspects products, and adheres to all factory safety guidelines and standards. Duties and materials worked with may vary ie. vinyl and/or glass. Hours are 7am-3:30pm overtime sometimes available (seasonal).

Responsibilities & Duties -

Work carefully with production machinery and material.

Make sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.

Assemble product parts by hand.

Use power tools to weld, drill, and attach parts.

Inspect assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards.

Keep factory floor clean.

Unload, organize, and stock shipments and material.

Adhere to all safety guidelines dictation the production and handling of materials in the factory.

Ensure that all production deadlines are met.

Education and Experience -

High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting is recommended.
