Material Handler Lead - 2nd shift

If you are a highly motivated, hardworking individual that prioritizes safety, we want you to join our growing warehouse team in a very fast-moving environment. We are currently looking for qualified Material Handler Lead and Waver Lead candidates with powered equipment experience on 2nd shift.

What will you need?

• At least 1-year forklift driving experience in a warehouse setting, including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, EPJs and scissor lifts.
• Previous experience with RF Scanners, staging, QC, loading/unloading, waving, picking, and more.
• Ability to lead by example as a working lead, and proficient leadership and communication skills.
• Basic- to Intermediate- computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work mandated Overtime and Saturdays as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate walkie riders, forklifts, and reach trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
• Properly receive, unload, move, and tag incoming parts and equipment.
• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
• Knowledge of QMS (Quality Management Systems) and Lean Warehousing
• Experience operating material handling equipment and using an RF scanner
• Pull and stage parts for production and complete requisitions for parts shortages.
• Collect and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
• Must comply with the company’s safety policies while using lifting devices (forklifts and scissor lifts) and clean initiative standards.
• Learn day to day warehouse operations.
• Verify orders are complete and accurate.
• Pick each customer order in the most effective manner possible to minimize shipping costs and insure product safety.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience in a distribution center setting.
• Proficiency in operating Walkie Rider, Reach truck, and Forklift.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English. Spanish language skills are ideal, but not required.
