Facilities Maintenance Manager (Mon-Fri 7:00AM - 3:30PM)

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee and manage the maintenance operations across multiple locations, ensuring the optimal performance, security, and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to align maintenance efforts with business objectives, manages vendor relationships, coordinates repair activities, and ensures compliance with safety protocols and maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily facility operations, including security, maintenance, and service functions.
• Manage and review vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and verifying accuracy in billing.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance projects within agreed-upon timelines.
• Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team, including hiring, training, and ongoing professional development.
• Enforce safety standards, including adherence to lockout/tagout protocols and other relevant regulations.
• Develop and manage facility budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities through breakdown analysis and process improvements.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and maintenance services.
• Manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while adapting to shifting priorities.
• Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs to support billing accuracy and operational transparency.
• Ensure tasks are performed with attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Understanding of good documentation practices

• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, or reach with hands and arms, climb ladders, kneel, crouch
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs. unassisted while using safe lifting techniques

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Advanced education or certification in facilities management or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in facilities maintenance management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other basic computer applications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships at all organizational levels.
• Expertise in lockout/tagout safety procedures.
• Familiarity with budgeting and cost-reduction strategies in facilities management.
• Advanced knowledge of tools and equipment used in building maintenance, repairs, and reconstruction.
• Experience with material handling equipment, including stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet riders, and sit-down forklifts.

Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, climbing ladders, kneeling, and crouching.
• Adept at maintaining documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
• Flexibility to shift focus based on evolving priorities and operational needs.
