Requirements
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead all finance activities around mergers and acquisitions.
- Analyze CIMs for potential acquisitions and present strategic insights to ownership.
- Structure deals to maximize our upside potential while limiting our risks.
- Lead financial due diligence efforts, ensuring thorough evaluation of financial statements, tax records, and other data
- Work with investment banking partners to obtain favorable financing.
- Collaborate with other members of the finance and accounting group to ensure M&A reporting needs are consistently met (e.g. P&Ls, budgets, forecasts, etc.)
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support special projects, investment decisions, and business initiatives.
- Identify areas for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and revenue enhancement through data-driven analysis and financial modeling.
- Establish best practices, standardize processes, and implement tools to streamline M&A operations and improve efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in M&A, including all aspects of financial analysis, due diligence, deal structuring, and financing.
- Experience working directly with owners in private equity or investment banking.
- Working knowledge of accounting, including interpretation of financial statements.
- Senior leader mindset and ability to trailblaze with minimal oversight.
