This role involves ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, managing inventory control, and optimizing the flow of goods within the FTZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure all FTZ operations comply with CBP regulations and other applicable federal laws
- Oversee inventory tracking, record-keeping, and transaction processing for goods moving in and out of the FTZ
- Manage daily FTZ activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, storage, and handling of goods
- Direct and oversee daily operations within the FTZ warehouse to ensure seamless workflow, adherence to schedules, and operational efficiency
- Implement and oversee the organization of stock areas to optimize storage, accessibility, and safety
- Ensure that all RK Logistics Group Facilities are FTZ regulation compliant and inspection-ready every day
- Prepare and submit required reports to CBP and other regulatory bodies
- Train staff on FTZ procedures and compliance requirements
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that arise
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within an FTZ environment
- Skills: Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in inventory management software, and the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Certifications: FTZ Administrator Certification or similar credentials are a plus
- Adherence to all RK Safety, Quality, ISO and HR policies and standards
