Job Responsibilities:
In this key role, you will work independently with minimal supervision, performing general and vascular ultrasound techniques using portable sonographic equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Login to self-dispatch or contact the dispatch department to obtain information about your case load.
- Arrive at designated facilities to conduct exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality, clinically diagnostic images.
- Operate ultrasounds, digitally transmitting them to radiologists for interpretation.
- Check voicemail from client facilities after completing assigned cases.
- Self-dispatch and check for available cases every thirty minutes.
- Wear company-provided uniform, name tag, and adhere to dress code policies.
- Carry company-provided phone and respond to urgent communications within fifteen minutes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, you must have:
- ARDMS or CCI certification for vascular ultrasound.
- General and vascular certification (ARDMS RVT and RDMS).
- Vaccination against COVID-19 or exemption documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
- Maintain required certifications, registries, health requirements, and operational requirements.
- A valid driver's license and ability to produce it on demand.
