Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery
RKA Recruiting-Permanent Positions is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional nursing care to obstetrics patients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with a well-established OB/GYN and pediatric group.
About the Role:
- Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies.
- Cross-trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite.
- Assess, plan, organize, supervise, provide, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
Unit Details:
- 8-bed LDRP unit with an annual delivery rate of over 350 babies.
- 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio during active labor.
- 1:2/3 mother-to-nurse ratio.
