Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant located in Clinton, LA. The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring efficient patient care. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with medical procedures, taking patient vital signs, maintaining medical records, and preparing medical instruments and rooms. The role also involves direct patient interaction.
Qualifications
- Skills in Medical Assisting and Patient Care
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and experience in a Medical Office
- Proficiency in maintaining Medical Records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
