Technology Specialist (In-Office)

We are looking for a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Technology Specialist. This position is ideal for someone experienced in software technology, web design, graphic design, and extremely technology savvy. As a Technology Specialist, your job will be to manage multiple websites and design engaging graphics for marketing materials and social media. The best candidate will know programming, search engine optimization (SEO), and logo design. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all designs match our brand and effectively communicate with our audience.

We also need a knowledgeable Information Technology Specialist to help maintain and improve our IT systems. This role involves ensuring everything runs smoothly and providing technical support when needed. You should have a solid understanding of computer networking, software troubleshooting, and different operating systems.

Additionally, we are searching for a dynamic Technical Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, your technical skills and creativity will be important for graphic design, website development, technical support, and creating marketing materials. Your work will help boost our online presence and improve user experience while supporting internal teams and enhancing onboarding processes.

The ideal candidate should understand design principles and be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver. Knowledge of web design tools like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also important. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment are key to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support

• Provide help for hardware and software issues, including VPN, LAN, and Active Directory problems.
• Collaborate with team members to improve system efficiency and user experience.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Train and support users on new technologies and software.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues for employees and clients.
• Maintain IT systems for smooth technology operations and identify potential issues.
• Create and update technical documentation and user resources.

Graphic Design:

• Create engaging graphics for social media, websites, and print materials.
• Work with marketing to design infographics, ads, and promotional content.
• Ensure designs align with brand guidelines while promoting innovation.
• Website Design and Development:
• Design and update the company website to reflect brand values and enhance user interaction.
• Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS tools for effective web development.
• Evaluate website performance regularly using analytics to inform improvements.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

• Perform keyword research and SEO audits to develop effective strategies.
• Optimize website content to improve search engine visibility and rankings.
• Monitor SEO performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Marketing Materials Creation and Updating:

• Collaborate on marketing collateral like brochures and presentations.
• Ensure all materials are accurate and reflect current company initiatives.
• Keep an eye on industry trends for fresh ideas in marketing design.

Onboarding Assistance:

• Prepare training materials and manage tech setups for new hires.
• Conduct training sessions to help new employees understand company systems.
• Gather feedback to improve the onboarding experience.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work with cross-functional teams to align goals and complete projects.
• Contribute ideas in team meetings for process improvements.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants.

Additional Duties:

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design and tech.
• Seek professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Preferences:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, website development, or a relevant technical role.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma) and web development tools (WordPress, HTML/CSS, etc.).
• Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
• Proven problem-solving skills with a strong customer-centric approach to technical support.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Experience in Technical Support role, 3 years (required)
• Experience as a Web Designer, 3 years (required)
• Experience as a Graphic Designer, 3 years (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field (required)
