Finance Manager – Manufacturing

RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is hiring on behalf of our manufacturing client for a Finance Manager role. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well-established insulated foam manufacturer. The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations at a mid-sized facility (approximately 50 employees and growing), ensuring strong financial controls, budgeting, and strategic financial management to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management & Reporting: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, and identify cost-saving opportunities specific to foam manufacturing.
- Accounting & Compliance: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax filings, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Cash Flow & Risk Management: Maintain healthy cash flow, optimize working capital, and assess financial risks to protect business stability.
- Operational Finance Support: Partner with plant leadership to align financial strategy with production efficiency and business objectives.
- ERP & Financial Systems: Utilize financial software and ERP systems to streamline financial reporting and operational insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in rubber, plastics, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial controls, and plant-level finance operations.
- Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hands-on, mid-sized facility environment.
