Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication administration logs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety.
- Perform inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations concerning medication handling and storage.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with pharmacy practices.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and critical care practices is a plus.
