We are looking for a skilled, experienced Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements.
A great machinist needs to possess manual dexterity and an eye for detail. They must also have knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety precautions.
Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Machinist
Responsibilities :
- Operates and maintains milling Bridgeport (milling) and Lathe (turning) machines
- Manual CNC on site as well
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Make parts / modify parts for production based on formal RLC Drawings
- Work with Production to modify parts on the floor as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment
- Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
- Ability to read English
- Ability to interface with Engineering and Quality in order to ensure parts are made correctly.
Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Machinist Experience
