Job Summary
We are seeking a Remote Senior Business Development Representative for our New Jersey location. This role involves researching and targeting key prospects, conducting high-level conversations, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies. Success in this role is measured by achieving lead generation and revenue targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients who can benefit from ERP consulting services. Ensure the top of the sales funnel is full by performing market research to identify key industries and customers to target
Research and generate qualified leads through various channels, including online research, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.
Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients to understand their EPR needs and propose tailored solutions.
Develop a deep understanding of the products and services and their applications to effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to clients.
Create and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the benefits of Data Insights, addressing clients' unique requirements and demonstrating how our solutions can add value to their operations.
Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through CRM software.
Collaborate with clients on pricing and contractual agreements, utilizing strong negotiation skills to close deals.
Stay informed about industry EPA regulations, trends, competitor activities, and market demands related to material handling solutions.
Consultative sales skills for communicating key USPs in different customer scenarios
Experience in the recycling, manufacturing, safety, and/or logistics industries is preferred.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
10 plus year proven experience in a Business Development position or in a similar sales role.
Familiarity with EPR and experience providing services to obligated parties is a strong asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, domestic and international, as needed.
