Purpose of role

The purpose of this role is to serve as customer support and support other departments within Precision with inventory, shipping and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers find information and diagrams on old and new equipment
  • Identify parts and models and solutions for repairing equipment with efficiency and cost as top priority
  • Assist customers with parts order inquiries and identify the parts necessary for customer needs
  • Sell obsolete and unused parts on eBay
  • Organize and manage parts inventory by making sure all parts are put away in their respective spot, communicating re-ordering needs to the purchasing department, and participating in inventory counts
  • Completing documentation within Global Shop, documenting orders in Microsoft list and other shipping software
  • Pack orders, build pallets, collect payments and provide tracking information to customers
  • Filing and organizing MSO’s, safety documents, credit applications and warranty claims
  • Coordinate with Royal Transport and other freight companies after confirming payment, shipping, location and options for shipping
  • Update accounting with shipping cost and follow up with customers
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
