We are a full-service CPA firm with offices in Northern Colorado and Wyoming with a focus on superior client service for our small business clients. We are looking to expand in our Fort Collins office. Our ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in tax accounting with expertise in tax preparation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are a prerequisite, as is excellent MS Office Suite, and QuickBooks knowledge. Experience with Thomson Reuters Software is also desired.
Responsibilities:
- Tax planning strategies and tax consultations for individual and business clients
- Direct interaction with clients while working on the tax projects
- Preparation of individual, business, and trust income tax returns
- Accounting assistance and proposals for improvements and client training
- Opportunity for cross training in our audit, payroll and bookkeeping departments

The minimum qualifications for our professional tax staff positions are:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Masters a plus) and qualify for CPA examination
- Two or more years of individual and/or business tax preparation experience
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent skills in using business computer applications and ability to work in a fully paperless environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, interactive, results-based, team environment
