What you will be doing as a Carrier Support : The Carrier Support, Freight Consolidation is responsible for generating and maintaining relationships with carriers. Identify geographic areas of need and develop & implement plans to fulfill those needs. What you need to land this awesome job : Education : High School (GED) Experience : 1 -3 years of relevant experience License or Certification : N / A Travel requirements : Never Minimum Physical requirements : N / A Minimum Behavior requirements : You must Be Humble, Stay Hungry and Live Smart A day in the life (but not limited to) : Manage the onboarding process for new carriers Responsible for tracking / tracing drivers during inbound / outbound shipments. Identify lanes where additional capacity is needed and obtain that needed capacity. Update and maintain carrier packet Support LiONs to ensure Carrier Satisfaction Responsible for all inbound / outbound appointments for shippers / receivers in your area. Monitor and update carrier insurance requirements and carrier selection criteria Hold quarterly carrier meetings to obtain improvement feedback Attain predetermined performance metrics as outlined by their Manager Train and support new team members All other duties as assigned by supervisor, but remember, we work as a team to get the job done.
