Responsibilities
- Represent RLT to the highest standard, leading with integrity and kindness
- Arrive daily to create a warm, fulfilling experience for customers
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization on sales floor and in stock room
- Complete inventory and convey needs to management
- Merchandising
- Learn and put forward the story of RLT, help customers feel involved and at home - create an experience that fosters loyalty and community
- Drive sales by demonstrating extensive product knowledge, especially of vintage denim, vintage styles and sizing, and local manufacturing practices
- Create a customized shopping experience and provide suggestions to clients when time allows
- Help create and maintain a culture of kindness that is client and team focused
- Effectively use the POS system to collect accurate information and provide exemplary customer service
- Plan and prioritize daily tasks and ensure the customer is the top priority
- Take a collaborative approach, sharing best practices, ideas, and information with peers across all markets and build productive relationships
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures and standards of professionalism
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and perform other key holder duties in the absence of management
Experience
- Experience and interest in fashion and vintage clothing and design.
- Previous customer service and retail experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is a plus.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success.
