DoD Java Full Stack Developer - Located in the DC Area

Java Full Stack Developer (Full-time and Must Live in the Washington DC Area) 

Location: Arlington, VA – Hybrid 

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret or higher

This is a full-time opportunity with a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in the Washington, DC area. Strong compensation offered for the right candidate.

As a Java Full Stack Developer professional, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software and technology solutions that facilitate efficient access, analysis, and visualization of large datasets. Your will be developing code in JavaScript with one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks to include React, Angular, or Vue.js and interacting with programming applications such as Rest API.

Responsibilities:

As a Java Full Stack Developer professional, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software and technology solutions that facilitate efficient access, analysis, and visualization of large datasets. Your will be developing code in JavaScript with one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks to include React, Angular, or Vue.js and interacting with programming applications such as Rest API.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in a related field

·        Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

·        3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with demonstrated experience creating data-related software applications from scratch.

·        MUST be proficient in React, JS, Node and SQL to be able to independently and immediately start contributing to improving DoD Financial Data Apps and/or implementing new requirements.

·        Heavy JavaScript Coding

·        JavaScript built-in data structures and standard methods

·        JavaScript promises, async, and await

·        JavaScript closures and scope

·        Control flow and iteration

·        React hooks and state management

·        Recent experience building & maintaining financial applications highly preferred

·        Proficient with essential front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

·        Must be in the DC Metro area

Nice to Have:

·        Recent DoD or IC-related experience.  Experience with DoD data platforms and/or software factories
