RegionsRM Interiors specializes in national flooring solutions for: REIT, iBuys, Property Management, General Contractors, Commercial and Hospitality Properties. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the warehouse and timely delivery of goods.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse processes including cutting, staging and loading out installers
- Review all work orders to ensure installers have all materials and information necessary to successfullycomplete each job
- Assist in development and implementation of warehouse strategies to optimize space utilization, improveefficiency and meet business objectives
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff including training and performance management
- Oversee the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory
- Manage stock material, inventory quantities, order additional stock, cycle count, inventory, and rotate stock
- Facilities management including trash management, propane orders, bin/shelf optimization, material rotation,building maintenance, landscaping, clean up equipment, organization, and warehouse supplies
- Monthly inventory counts * Implement measures to prevent product damage and loss * Ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing goods through regular inspections and adherence to qualitystandards * Communicate necessary information to installers
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and ensure a high level of employee morale
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and training warehouse staff
- Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and other relevant technology
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Forklift certified
- Able to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
- Able to operate wareho9use equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in warehouse management
- Inventory management experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to bend, stoop, and work in hot temperatures
Location & Hours:
- Full-time day shift; Standard work week Monday to Friday
- Sporadic evenings or weekend work may be required as job duties demand with volume
Reports to:
- Market Leader; Primary
- Operations Manager; Secondary
Compensation and Benefits:
- $18 to $27 per hour*
- Standard 3% - 10% annual bonus program based on tenure
