RM Palmer Company, LLC designs, produces, packages, and ships seasonal chocolate novelties. Our products include filled chocolates, solid chocolates, chocolate bars and balls, chocolate cups and coins, chocolate patties, and seasonal products. In addition to their own branded products, the Company co-manufactures both seasonal and everyday products for other large branded companies. Today, the Company operates out of two manufacturing facilities and one distribution facility with ~600 full-time employees. R.M. Palmer Company, LLC has some of the most differentiated manufacturing capabilities in the industry as one of the only companies in the U.S. able to make hollow molded chocolate candy products and multicolor chocolate candy novelties.
The Utility Worker is responsible for material handling services throughout the candy production plant. This role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or workstations.

The Utility Worker is responsible for material handling services throughout the candy production plant. This role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or workstations.
Utility Worker Duties
- Read work orders and adjust production setups accordingly.
- Change code dates on production items.
- Transport packaging supplies and palletized products; shrink-wrap and stack as needed.
- Perform inventory tracking, including weighing, labeling, and recording product movement.
- Set up and adjust conveyor systems for production needs.
- Resupply staging areas and remove materials post-changeover.
- Lift and move heavy objects manually or with a hand truck.
- Assist with packaging operations, assembling packer units, and handling bulk products.
- Perform basic machinery adjustments and minor repairs.
- Maintain inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
- Ensure proper stacking of skids and organization of work areas.
- Perform routine sanitation and waste disposal tasks.
Utility Worker Experience:
- Prior production/manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklift and electric pallet jack.
