R.M. Palmer Company, LLC designs, produces, packages, and ships seasonal chocolate novelties. Its products include filled chocolates, solid chocolates, chocolate bars and balls, chocolate cups and coins, chocolate patties, and seasonal products. In addition to their own branded products, the Company co-manufactures both seasonal and everyday products for other large branded companies. The Label Shop Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the labeling department, ensuring accurate and efficient label production while maintaining compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing label formats, maintaining label databases, troubleshooting printing issues, and ensuring proper inventory management.
- Print, design, and update labels for production needs while maintaining compliance with customer and FDA guidelines.
- Operate and maintain Zebra, Epson, and DuraLabel printers, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Utilize Legitronic, Exeter, and Microsoft Access to design labels, manage databases, and update label formats.
- Maintain stock of label supplies, coordinate with vendors, and conduct yearly inventory audits.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access), and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experience with labeling software, database management, and barcode scanning systems.
- Familiarity with Zebra, Epson, HP, and DuraLabel printers.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask under deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
