Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mechanical Estimator at RM Welding & Installation Inc. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for estimating project costs, preparing bids, reviewing specifications, interpreting drawings, and collaborating with the project management team. This position will be located in Mount Airy, MD, and will have the flexibility to do some remote work.
Qualifications
- Estimating project costs, preparing bids, and reviewing project specifications
- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of process piping systems and structural steel
- Experience in research laboratories, bio-pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or medical gas industries
- Familiarity with Victaulic pipe installations and maintenance projects
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certification or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
