Clinical Chaperrone

General Clinical Chaperone Functions:

• Assist physicians with the following procedures and accurately documenting in Resource according to practice protocol:
  • IUIs
  • Ultrasounds (stim, pregnancy, 3D)
  • Saline sonograms
  • Post-Op and Physical Exams
  • Cyst or Fluid aspiration
• Keep the physician on schedule by anticipating their needs and being available to assist.

• Verbally ask then visually verify patient information prior to ultrasounds and other procedures in exam rooms:
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and calling for assistance from other health care support personnel when appropriate.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Ensure operation of equipment by following manufacturers instructions; advise manager when there are equipment problems or failures.
• Restock daily supplies; advises leadership when stock needs replenishing; distribute clinical supplies as needed.
• Cooperate with office operations by assisting with the Physician team responsibilities as needed.
• Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner.
• Work weekends & holidays as needed and/or scheduled.
• Work various locations as needed and/or scheduled.
• Work shifts starting as early as 6:45am. Typical shift ends at 11am.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Entry level accepted.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieves information from a computer.
• Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.).
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Is enthusiastic and maintains a positive attitude.
• Develops positive working relationships with colleagues, promoting team spirit.
• Uses tact and skill in confronting difficult interpersonal situations; avoids unnecessary conflict.
• Works well with diverse personalities.

RMA LIIVF is a multi-site practice. There may be times you are requested to participate in assignments at other locations. Without causing undue hardship or significant personal inconvenience, RMA LIIVF proposes a solid team approach to our availability regarding the need and development of all our office locations.

Salary : $18 - $19
