What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLINICAL ASSISTANT *North Regional Float position at RMA Network?
RMA is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Assistant (Northern NJ Float) whose primary location will be our Basking Ridge, NJ office.
**This position requires travel between our Basking Ridge, West Orange, Springfield, Englewood, Morristown and Jersey City offices.**
Monday - Friday from 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM; rotating holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures
- Accurately document ultrasound report in stim sheet
- Identify specimen for insemination
- Maintain sterile technique
- Perform routine patient assessment
- Phlebotomy
- Clean exam rooms promptly
- Maintain clinical supplies inventory
- Manage lanfax for outside labs, reports, results, prescriptions refills
- Enter all labs and outside reports
- Comfort patients by anticipating patient’s anxieties; answering patient’s questions
- Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards
- Maintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with multidisciplinary teams within the Practice
Requirements:
- Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program required; State certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
- Women’s Healthcare background preferred
- Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- EMR experience preferred
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays
