What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLINICAL ASSISTANT *Temp position at RMA Network?
RMA is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Clinical Assistant for the Basking Ridge, NJ location who will work Wednesday - Saturday from 5:30am - 3:30pm with rotating holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures
- Accurately document ultrasound report in stim sheet
- Identify specimen for insemination
- Maintain sterile technique
- Perform routine patient assessment
- Phlebotomy
- Clean exam rooms promptly
- Maintain clinical supplies inventory
- Manage lanfax for outside labs, reports, results, prescriptions refills
- Enter all labs and outside reports
- Comfort patients by anticipating patient’s anxieties; answering patient’s questions
- Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards
- Maintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with multidisciplinary teams within the Practice
Requirements:
- Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program required; State certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
- Women’s Healthcare background preferred
- Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- EMR experience preferred
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
