What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLINICAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST position at RMA Network?
OVERVIEW: The Clinical Quality Specialist will be responsible for integrating new sites onto the Artemis platform and providing ongoing support and education to existing sites. They will work closely with clinical staff (Providers, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Sonographers, and Phlebotomists) to optimize Artemis utilization, ensure clinics are compliant with IVIRMA policies and procedures, and maximize the patient experience. This role also includes participation in quality projects and initiatives established by the IVIRMA Medical Affairs Team.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

Site Integration & Support:
- Assist in integrating newly acquired sites onto the Artemis platform, ensuring efficient setup and functionality.
- Assist with training new staff for de novo start-up locations
- Serve as a go-to specialist for Clinical Staff (Providers, Nursing staff, Medical Assistants, Sonographers, and Phlebotomists) ensuring seamless communication and operational support.
- Report any functionality requirements or recommendations raised by staff to the supervisor for further evaluation.
Ongoing Support, Standardization and Compliance- Serves as a clinical expert in patient care practices and protocols for clinical staff members
- Standardizes clinical procedures and improves standards of practice across the organization; ensures clinics operate according to network policies and procedures.
- Provide education or re-education to clinic staff, as needed.
- Assist with dissemination and implementation of new clinical SOPs as directed by the IVI America Medical Affairs Team.
Travel & On-Site Support:
- Travel to various sites for go-live support, provide on-site assistance during the integration process or new site launch (typically one week per go-live).
- Conduct additional visits to centers requiring ongoing education and support post-go live.
- Travel to individual clinics as part of quality assurance program; bring concerns from visits to the IVI America Medical Affairs
Position Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- IVF Nursing background preferred, but not required.
- Experience in healthcare operations or EMR systems (Artemis or similar).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel for site support and training (required)
