We are seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant for our Wayne, PA RMA office.
Scheduled hours are as follows 6 : 45am -3 : 30pm Monday-Friday with occasional weekends / holidays.
This position is ideal for students taking a gap before attending Graduate or Medical School.
The Clinical Assistant's duties include, but are not limited to for greeting patients, activating patient files, and for providing support to patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures
- Accurately document ultrasound report in stim sheet
- Maintain sterile technique
- Clean exam rooms promptly
- Maintain clinical supplies inventory
- Manage lanfax for outside labs, reports, results, prescriptions refills
- Enter all labs and outside reports
- Comfort patients by anticipating patient’s anxieties; answering patient’s questions
- Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards
- Maintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with multidisciplinary teams within the Practice
