Boston IVF has an immediate opening for a PHLEBOTOMIST at our Albany New York center.
This is a Per Diem position. The schedule is Mondays and Fridays 6:00 am to 10:30 am. One week per month, during batch week, needed 5 days /week 6:00am to 10:30 am. with rotating Saturdays and holidays.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform patient phlebotomy and specimen processing
Processing samples to send to multiply reference labs
Printing requisitions
Responsible for pending results
Adhere to phlebotomy procedures and lab services manuals
Adhere to requirements of Safety Procedures
Maintain cleanliness of drawing area and stock supplies in phlebotomy lab
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Certification is preferred but not a requirement
Technical expertise along with good customer service is very important
Attention to detail a must
Pay: $22-$24 per hour
