RMA is looking for a lead technician who can assist our fleet manager in the maintenance and repairs of our fleet. The Lead Technician is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and high-quality maintenance and repair of vehicles. This position combines advanced technical expertise with team management skills to oversee day-to-day operations. The Lead Technician is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, mentoring technicians, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive workplace.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, etc
- Conduct inspections and road tests to confirm proper vehicle operation
- Led, mentor, and provide technical support to a team of automotive technicians.
- Monitor the team’s progress and ensure the timely completion of repairs and services.
- Conducted quality checks on completed repairs to ensure they met company and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
- Manage inventory levels for parts and tools.
- Support the Fleet Manager with scheduling, reporting, and performance evaluations
