We have a great opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our Maintenance department. Must have your tools and be able to travel 25% of the time. Here, you'll do preventative maintenance and minor repairs on the newest and best-maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. You will help our chauffeurs keep their vehicles in shape and on the road. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- On- site maintenance of our fleet in our outdoor facility (with at home repairs flexibility)
- Perform preventive maintenance : oil changes, brake adjustment, repairs deemed DVIR.
- Conducting diagnostic testing on fleet vehicles
- Keeping detailed records of all vehicles that they service
- Conduct inspections of diesel machinery and vehicles to detect signs of possible deterioration,
- Work entails exerting force exceeding 100lbs occasionally, frequently lifting over 50lbs, and consistently moving objects weighing more than 20lbs, utilizing appropriate tools as necessary.
- Disassemble, overhaul, rebuild, repair, recondition, replace and maintenance parts of the engine, pumps, generators, transmission, clutches, differential unions, pistons, bearings, gear and valves.
- Operate company vehicles : park, move, position, test and perform road / services calls
- Other duties as assigned
