Position Details
- Job Title : Unarmed Security Officer / Ambassador / Parking & Transportation
Employment Status : Regular Full-Time (Non-Exempt) & Part-Time
Salary Range : $17 / hr - $19 / hr

Shifts Available : Vary by position and location
Location : Multiple locations with various public and private sector clients throughout Charlottesville, VA, and surrounding areas
Position Summary and Location
To provide a superior level of customer service in an independent working environment in a highly fluid, forward-facing, customer service-orientated unarmed security / non-security positions. Duties may include access control, building patrol, grounds patrol, maintaining accurate and timely rounds of assigned areas, CCTV monitoring, and parking management.
Job Duties and Physical Requirements
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the U.S.
Must submit to an extensive background check including criminal history (VA State Police & FBI fingerprints), personal & professional references, & employment and education verifications.
Successfully complete the initial application process and required DCJS training course, provided by RMC Events.
Ability to interact cordially and communicate with a diverse community.
Ability to assess and react to all situations including emergencies quickly, accurately, and effectively.
Must maintain a neat, clean, & well-groomed appearance.
Must be able to work a permanent schedule with abundant overtime opportunities.
All employees are required to possess a fundamental proficiency in technology, such as using email, navigating
scheduling software, and effectively utilizing tools like Zoom and MS Teams.
