Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales/Assistant Project Client Manager, you will:
- Assist with managing commercial painting projects, including estimating, bid portal processes, and preparing startup packages.
- Establish and grow a clientele base by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating strong relationships with potential clients
- Collaborate with building management and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Support project execution, including punch walks, project close-out, and the submission of necessary administrative documents.
- Help oversee various trades, including painting, wall coverings, drywall installation/taping, and specialty finishes such as epoxy and powder coating.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of recent experience in:
- Commercial Tenant Improvements
- Project Management
- Plan Reading, Scheduling, and Profit Forecasting
- Analyzing Subcontractors and Qualifying Project Scope
- Budgeting, Estimating, and Bid Preparation
- Experience with Unit Cost and Design Build Proposals
- Understanding of General Contract Regulations
General Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assist in developing and maintaining relationships with high-profile clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, MS Project)
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds of equipment.
- Need to be able to move up and down a ladder.
