Key Responsibilities:
• Engagement Management: Plan, perform, and oversee audit and assurance engagements, ensuring high-quality results that meet regulatory and client standards.
• Client Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and addressing their audit and financial reporting needs.
• Staff Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train staff accountants, providing guidance to ensure professional development and successful engagement outcomes.
• Technical Expertise: Stay updated on accounting and auditing standards, including GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant regulations.
• Practice Development: Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and assist in acquiring new clients through networking and community engagement.
• Strategic Involvement: Contribute to the firm’s long-term success by participating in strategic decision-making and supporting business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on audits, preferably in a small or mid-sized firm.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage engagements, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and firm leadership.
• Demonstrated interest in pursuing a leadership role and long-term commitment to the firm.
