What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service BDC position at RML Auto?
Position Title: BDC Sales Coordinator
Process incoming and outgoing sales calls. Serve as the initial sales contact in many cases. Follow up floor traffic and internet leads. Manage and maintain the customer database. Manage and maintain appointment logs.
Responsibilities:
- Answer all calls in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
- Must meet minimum requirements given by the dealership for calls made and appointments set. Must maintain the appointment log and ensure that there is a follow-up process in place.
- Explain the process to every appointment. Give the customer the name of a manager that will be at the Dealership to greet them.
- Dedicate at least 3 hours of uninterrupted time each day to follow up (on your own prospects, be-backs, and lease re-tension customers).
- Enter all of the following information into the DMS/CRM system, prospects name, phone number, source, the vehicle of interest, detailed notes, appointment, and follow-up date.
- Extensive notes are to be entered in for every customer file in Advent.
- All appointments are to be entered into the appropriate spreadsheet. All follow-up calls are to be managed according to the dealership guidelines.
- Employees must follow the internet process and daily routine.
- Ensure a thorough knowledge and understanding of products.
- Employees must adhere to the approved script that has been provided by the dealership.
- Priority follow-up sheets must be completed and handed to team leaders or assistant managers on a daily basis.
- Must meet monthly requirements set by the dealership for leads, calls, appointments, shows, and sold.
- All internet leads must be entered into the DMS/CRM system. Emails received must be managed according to dealership guidelines, unmatched emails must be followed up on as well.
- All internet leads need to be answered within the time guidelines set by the dealership. All responses must be within the time guidelines set by the dealership.
- Employees must follow appropriate pricing sheets for the dealership and must have pricing info (see price sheet) before giving a price.
Requirements:
- Follows the dress code the company has put in place. Maintains a clean and neat work area.
- Follows federal, state, and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information.
- Reports on time to work and follows a schedule that is given. Calls supervisor if he/she cannot be at work on time.
- Keeps current with annual HR training along with any other training that might be required for this position.
- Follows all company policies and procedures. Notifies supervisor of any illegal activity.
