What are the responsibilities and job description for the Suspension Lift Technician/Safety Sensitive position at RML Auto?
Waxahachie Ford is looking for a skilled Suspension Lift Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing installs on aftermarket suspension lift kits and bolt on products.
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Installation and assembly of after-market truck lift equipment and accessories, such as: Lift Kits, Leveling Kits, Power Steps, Bumpers, Wheels and Tires, and more.
- Diagnose OEM and aftermarket suspension components
- Performs vehicle customization, which may sometimes include fabrication of truck parts and equipment
- Performs wiring of lights, winches, air bags, trucks and trailers
- Follows manufacturer’s specifications for installation of components and equipment
- Practices safe procedures when lifting, moving and installing different products for customers
- Always wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing installations
- Performs inspections of completed work to ensure completion and quality of service
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, reduce turnaround times, streamline work, and incorporate additional services
- Assists in keeping all areas of the facility clean and orderly
- Keeps personal workstation clean and stocked with supplies
- Performs other duties/flex into other roles as needed
