RMS Asset Management LLC, a specialized asset manager for portfolios of mortgage loans and REOs, is looking for an entry-level accountant to join its Accounting and Reporting team. The entry-level accountant will be working closely with the accounting manager and report to the controller. This position will be based in our office in West Los Angeles, CA.
Job Description :
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Post journal entries and prepare monthly / annual financial statements for multiple entities
- Process payable and reconcile GL accounts
- Import monthly remittance reports to the company’s asset management system and ensure accuracy of all loadings
- Assist with portfolio reconciliations and reporting
- Assist with tax return and other filings
- Assist with ad-hoc and other administrative / accounting related tasks
