Junior Valuation Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Valuation Analyst to join our valuation team. The successful candidate will assist in conducting desk reviews and support the overall valuation process. While a license is not required, a solid understanding of residential real estate valuation is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist in performing desk reviews of residential property valuations.

·         Collect and analyze data pertinent to property assessments.

·         Support the preparation of comprehensive valuation reports.

·         Maintain and update valuation databases and records.

·         Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

·         Stay informed about current market trends and valuation methodologies.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field, role in the real estate industry may suffice.

·         Fundamental knowledge of residential real estate valuation processes.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

·         Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Previous experience in real estate analysis or a related role.

·         Familiarity with valuation software and tools.

·         Understanding of local real estate markets, particularly in California.
