About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Shopping Cart Maintenance Helper. This is a trainee position designed for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the company.
In this role, you will start by assisting experienced technicians in maintaining and repairing shopping carts for our retail customers. Over time, you will be trained in the essential skills needed to perform repairs, including replacing wheels, handles, welding, cleaning carts, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in replacing wheels, handles, and other components of shopping carts and basic maintenance of carts
- Learn to use power tools and mechanical systems under the guidance of lead technicians
- Support the team in maintaining organized work areas
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Qualifications:
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in cart repair and maintenance
- Ability to work with power tools and handle basic physical labor
- Must have a valid and clean State Driver’s License
Work Environment:
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including outside work
- Early morning start and overtime as needed
