Post Closing Processor

Job Summary:

The Post-Closing Processor is responsible for ensuring all real estate transactions are accurately completed and recorded after the closing process. This role involves reviewing signed closing documents, verifying compliance with company and regulatory requirements and facilitating the timely disbursement and recording of documents. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in title insurance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review signed closing documents for accuracy and completeness
• Verify that all necessary signatures, notarizations, and legal requirements are met
• Ensure proper recording of deeds, mortgages, liens, and other legal documents with county recording offices
• Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, and agents to resolve any post-closing discrepancies or missing documentation
• Track and follow up on outstanding post-closing items (e.g., recorded documents, final title policies, payoffS)
• Maintain organized electronic and physical files for all closed transactions
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Stay updated on state and federal regulations affecting title insurance and real estate transactions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience in title insurance, mortgage processing, or real estate closings
• Familiarity with title software (AccuTitle/Accu-Air)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of real estate documents (HUD-1/Settlement Statements, deeds, mortgages, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
