Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical settings
- Conduct triage and assess patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments following established standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
- Perform procedures such as catheterization, spinal taps, and botulinum toxin treatments
- Specialize in home care, family planning, pediatrics, and working with people with developmental disabilities
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Experience in medical/surgical nursing
- Familiarity with travel nursing is a plus
- Proficient in triage procedures and standards of care
