Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our medical team. The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment
- Capture images of internal organs, tissues, or blood flow to aid physicians in making diagnoses
- Maintain patient records and add medical notes to ultrasound images
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort
- Utilize medical imaging techniques and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures
- Specialize in areas such as Ob/Gyn, abdominal, or vascular sonography
Experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of patient care
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience in conducting ultrasound procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with aseptic technique practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff efficiently
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $57.20 - $75.00 per hour
