Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our medical team. The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures using specialized equipment
- Interpret and analyze ultrasound images for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss patient cases and imaging results
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment operation
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in Ob/Gyn ultrasound is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Certification in Sonography or relevant field is required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $68.24 - $83.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
