Field Service Manager - Water Treatment
Full Time / Part Time: Full Time

SUMMARY
Water Treatment Field Manager will run the day-to-day job site operations for the company. The Field Manager will ensure that all employees are able to complete tasks that are assigned, maintaining the job scope and other customer requests, and ensure safety is carried out.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently
- Ability to set-up and run all aspects of water transfer and management for a Frac from rig up, operations, and rig down
- Possess ability to effectively manage projects, supervise, train, and develop employees
- Responsible for quality assurance (pressure test, hose connections, flange connections, road crossings, manifolds, pump reliability, fuel levels, etc.)
- Ability to prepare and submit accurate and complete daily and weekly administrative reports/documents (field tickets, equipment reports, time sheets, activity reports)
- Ensure all inspections on equipment are performed and any routine maintenance as scheduled or needed is up to date.
- Inspect trucks for cleanliness and organization at least once a week.
- Ensure that tools assigned to employees and trucks are inspected and inventoried at a minimum of each week
- Perform monthly vehicle inspections by deadline
- Ensure DHI yards and work areas (job sites, etc.) are clean and organized
- Perform service calls as needed
- Ability to read and follow directions provided by Director and customer representatives
- Responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of water transfer services for a specific operator(s) or account(s)
- Demonstrates and exemplifies the Company's culture and commitment to Goal Zero: No deaths, no injuries; no spills; no environmental impact; and no damage to equipment, vehicles, and property
- Acts as voice to the client as a representative of DHI management
- Facilitates additional sales by pursuing additional work from existing accounts and informing supervising Director and Sales team when sales opportunities arise
- Acts as Manager on Site, delegating work to be done to ensure operations are running smoothly and on budget
- May serve as Job Site Lead on site or may be directing assigned Job Site Lead
- Runs all current jobs per work order / working hand in hand with Director and other Field Managers
- Ensures that all personnel follow Company-established HSE procedures
- Utilizes and trains personnel on appropriate safety equipment and ensures compliance with all company HSE policy, procedures, and governmental regulations
- Evaluates potential new jobs
- Works with engineering to properly spec the job technically, and to accomplish efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of leased equipment, pumps, and water transfer components
- Ensures proper monitoring, inspection, and performing of minor repairs to maintain pumps, valves, fusion machines, flow meters and other Company-owned equipment
- Installs and monitors water transfer equipment, including pumps, flow meters, filter pods and various valves necessary for transfer operations
- Minimizes down time and operating costs
- Coordinates and plans short- and long-term work tasks to meet specific goals/customers' requirements
- Ensures that all jobs are running to budget regarding personnel assignments and equipment rentals and works to cut costs
- Works to continuously improve company operations, including introduction and use of new technologies, opportunities for improved efficiency, and cost cutting measures
- Develops and delivers applicable training programs and jobsite safety instruction
- Educates, trains and disciplines Supervisor and Operators on operations
- Works with Field Coordinator on new employee interviews, orientations and training
- Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Performs and executes variety of tasks and duties directed by Director of Operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from a standard high school or GED or have equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of water treatment experience
- Good understanding and working knowledge of water transfer operations and equipment
- Superior mechanical and construction trade skills, particularly with respect to pumps, pipelines, flow and pressure of water, valves, fittings, and system controls
- Ability to write legibly and intelligently, with basic math, spreadsheet, email and word processing skills using a mobile device (e.g., smartphone, laptop, I-Pad or the like)
- Valid driver's license
- Prior personnel and project management experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
- Worker will be subject to other physical activities required, to include climbing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions
- Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection
- Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to individually lift: Maximum 75 pounds
WORK SCHEDULE
- This position will be based on a 8/6 schedule with employee working 8 days (Wednesday to Wednesday) with the next 6 days off. Wednesday will be considered hand-off days as both managers will work together.
- No vacation or holiday pay will be accrued.
