Part Time
RN Services is a locally owned and managed company in the St Louis area for over 25 years. We service high-end clients post-operative surgical and post-operative cosmetic care and are seeking individuals to assist with successful recovery for our clients. A compassionate, dependable, team-oriented RN to provide private care under the direction of the client, physician and RN case manager. Currently interviewing RN's with availability for part time employment working overnights and day shifts.
$40-$50 /hr. based on experience and availability.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and is currently licensed as an RN in the state of Missouri with working knowledge of professional standards and principles.
- Minimum of two years nursing experience
- Experience/comfortable with IV infusion therapy.
- Complies with all state and local regulations and accreditation standards, including current CPR certification.
- Licensed driver with a clean driving record and adhere to RNS’ Vehicle Safety Program.
- Vehicle that is insured in accordance with state and/or RNS’ policy and is in good working order.
- Cellphone with Internet and texting capabilities and cell phone skills
- Access to RNS’ email.
- Complete all physical and mental demands, which may include, but not be limited to the following: the ability to transfer clients, carry supplies, stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and speak effectively. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
- Covid vaccination preferred.
Responsibilities and Required Skills/Abilities
- Under the direction of the client/client's family - assesses environment and determines and records client's needs. Continually work with client and Physician to evaluate the effects of care given and regularly reevaluates the client's needs.
- Complies with RNS’ policies and procedures including standards of conduct and work ethics, dress code and HIPAA.
- Serves as a liaison between the client and other health care professionals.
- Has excellent writing and charting skills and prepares reports in a timely manner.
- Possesses ingenuity to handle medical and situational emergencies.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
