What are the responsibilities and job description for the CA - Physical Therapist Assistant (In and Out Patient) position at RN-Staff?
The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA), under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist, performs direct patient care activities using a variety of therapeutic procedures, and assistive devices designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination and body alignment, to relieve pain and to improve movement and function.
We are looking for PT Assistant with both in and out-patient experience. The workload is about 50 / 50 between the two. Shift is 8-5 with hour lunch Mon-Fri. We serve the hospital on Saturdays and all the therapists share that responsibility, so there would be 1 and at most 2 Saturday per month with time off during the week.
