Job Description :

Position : Medical-Surgical, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation Nurse

Reports to : Medical-Surgical, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation Nurse Manager

Summary : Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical, surgical, orthopedic, and rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities :

  • Medical-Surgical Nursing :

    • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Monitor vital signs and patient responses to interventions.
  • Educate patients and families about their conditions and care.
  • Assist with procedures and surgeries.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Orthopedic Nursing :

    • Provide specialized care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, such as joint replacements, fractures, and spinal surgeries.

  • Assist with preoperative and postoperative care.
  • Monitor patients for complications and manage pain.
  • Educate patients on rehabilitation exercises and home care.
  • Rehabilitation Nursing :

    • Assist patients in regaining functional abilities after injuries, illnesses, or surgeries.

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans.
  • Teach patients therapeutic exercises and activities.
  • Coordinate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.

    • Qualifications :

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical, orthopedic, and rehabilitation nursing.

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
